Rent the Aputure MC 12-Light Production Kit in Los Angeles from F22 Studios. The MC-12 kit packs twelve of Aputure’s palm-size MC RGBWW fixtures into a single wireless charging case — a complete pocket-light package for hiding color anywhere in a frame: inside car interiors, behind monitors and props, tucked into shelves and set pieces, or taped just out of shot as an eye light or accent.
Each MC is a credit-card-footprint fixture with a full RGBWW LED array. CCT is adjustable from 3,200K to 6,500K with CRI and TLCI ratings of 96+, so the MCs intercut cleanly with the rest of a professional lighting package instead of reading as an off-color practical. Full HSI mode dials in any hue and saturation for effects and accents, and built-in effects — fire, cop car, TV, paparazzi, fireworks, pulsing and more — cover the classic interactive-light gags without any programming.
Control is where the MC-12 kit earns its keep on a working set. Every fixture pairs with the free Sidus Link app over Bluetooth mesh, so one phone or tablet adjusts any light in the case — individually or in groups — without touching a fixture that’s already rigged. Change color, dim, or trigger an effect on a light taped inside a car dash without pulling it out. Magnets built into each MC snap to any steel surface, and the compact body hides in places no conventional fixture can go.
The wireless charging case is the kit’s logistics advantage: drop the MCs back into their slots and they recharge automatically between setups — no wall warts, no cable spaghetti, no dead lights at call time. Each MC also charges over USB-C when you need to top one up on its own.
