The LS 300x is a beloved workhorse in the F22 Studios lighting inventory — a 350W bi-color LED monolight designed for interview and portrait key lights, backlights and hair lights, punchy bounced sources into diffusion, and run-and-gun work where you need serious output in a battery-powerable Bowens fixture.

Output is 20,500 lux at 3.3 feet with no modifier, jumping to over 56,000 lux at 1 meter when the Aputure Fresnel 2X is attached for focused throw. That means one fixture handles everything from a soft key through a Light Dome to a hard focused source through a Fresnel — without swapping bodies mid-scene. The CCT range spans a practical 2,700K to 6,500K, covering warm interior practicals through daylight-balanced exteriors, with stepless dimming that stays flicker-free across camera frame rates.

What separates the LS 300x from most bi-color Bowens fixtures is its specially designed optical color-blending element, which merges the bi-color chipset into a single cohesive point-source. In practical terms, that means the LS 300x is the first bi-color Bowens fixture that plays cleanly with lensed optical modifiers like the Aputure Fresnel 2X and Spotlight Mount without color separation or fringing at the edges of the beam. When you’re throwing gobos, projecting patterns, or cutting a hard beam through a window, the light behaves like a true point source rather than an approximation.

CRI 96 and TLCI 96 keep skin tones natural and color reproduction consistent across multi-camera shoots. Nine built-in lighting FX (paparazzi, TV, lightning, cop car, fire, and more) cover the essentials without programming DMX from scratch, and Sidus Link app control plus 2.4GHz wireless remote give you multiple options for on-set adjustment. The V-mount version accepts standard V-mount batteries for location and cable-free work.
