The MICROGrip Master Kit is a complete tabletop and small-scale rigging system, designed for product and tabletop photography, food and beverage commercial work, jewelry and small-object shoots, VFX miniature and stop-motion setups, tight-quarter set decoration rigging, and any production where full-size C-stands and grip gear would be impractical or in the shot.

Traditional grip gear (C-stands, arms, knuckles, cardellinis) is built for lighting a person on a set — not for hiding a bounce card under a bowl of soup or rigging a small light behind a jewelry display. The MICROGrip system solves that problem by scaling the same functionality down: same articulating heads, same three-way adjustability, same safety margins — just miniaturized to fit where full-size gear cannot go. That means you’re rigging with tools that behave the way you already know, in a footprint that fits behind, under, and beside small subjects.

The 148-piece Master Kit includes six MICROGrip grip heads, two weighted bases, and rods in five lengths (4″, 6″, 8″, 12″, and 20″, all 3/8″ diameter) for building custom arm and boom setups. Two MICROGrip shot bags (1 lb each) provide counter-weighting for reach and offset work. Two MICROGrip Plates — one standard with an array of evenly spaced holes for nails or screws, one Nail-On with a T-cutout compatible with the MICROGrip Head — solve the “how do I attach this to a set piece” problem quickly and cleanly. The new Micro Pin, a 3/8″ pin with an undercut for added safety and a 1/4″-20 tap, connects MICROGrip components to standard camera-thread hardware.
