About the Rode Wireless GO I:
Rent the Rode Wireless GO in Los Angeles from F22 Studios. The Wireless GO is a compact digital wireless system — transmitter and receiver together — designed for run-and-gun documentary, interviews, corporate and event video, social and vertical content, walk-and-talk hosting, and any shoot where a full bag-and-boom audio package is more rig than the day requires.
What makes the Wireless GO different from traditional wireless is that the transmitter is also the microphone. The clip-on transmitter has a broadcast-grade omnidirectional condenser capsule built in, so you can clip it to a shirt, a lapel, or a jacket collar and be recording usable dialog in seconds. When you need the mic out of frame, a 3.5mm TRS input takes a standard lavalier and the transmitter becomes a conventional bodypack hidden under wardrobe. Both approaches use the same two-piece kit — no extra hardware to book.
The receiver is equally direct: it clips into a camera cold shoe and connects over a 3.5mm cable to a camera, mixer, or recorder, and a three-stage output pad matches it to almost any input without menu-diving. The digital 2.4GHz link delivers clean audio at roughly 200 feet line-of-sight, which comfortably covers interviews, presentations, and most walking shots. Both halves charge over USB-C and run about seven hours per charge — a full shooting day with a top-up at lunch.
Practical use cases include single-operator documentary and interview work, corporate and conference video, real estate and product walkthroughs, YouTube and social production, wedding and event coverage, and second-audio backup on larger narrative shoots where a hidden lav on a secondary subject is useful. For productions that need more range, more channels, or frequency coordination in RF-congested areas, our Lectrosonics LR/LT and Sennheiser ew100 systems are the step up. Available now for rental at F22 Studios in Burbank, serving productions across greater Los Angeles.
