Shooting with the Canon NFD Vintage
The nFD set is the more restrained of our two vintage Canon packages — sharp, neutral in colour, with flares that behave rather than take over the frame. It has been described as a K35-inspired look without the K35 rental rate, and that is a fair summary. For narrative work that wants a vintage feel while staying gradeable, it is one of the best-value sets we carry.
If you want more overt vintage character, look at the FD SSC set instead; if you want less, the modern primes are a better fit.
