Shooting with the Fujinon Servo
The Fujinon 20-120mm is a PL-mount Super 35 cine zoom with a detachable ENG-style servo drive, which means it works two ways: as a conventional cine zoom on a narrative set, or with the drive fitted for broadcast and live work where a zoom rocker is essential. A constant T3.5 and a 9-blade iris keep exposure and bokeh consistent through the range. That dual personality is why it stays busy.
Tell us which way you intend to work — with or without the servo drive — and we will configure it before it ships.
Fujinon Servo Rental FAQs
Can I use it without the servo drive?
Yes, the drive unit is detachable. Fitted, you get broadcast-style zoom control; removed, it behaves as a conventional cine zoom.
What is the zoom range on Super 35?
20 to 120mm at a constant T3.5, which covers most of what a documentary or single-camera broadcast setup needs.
