These are rare "Zebra" series Zeiss Jena lenses from 1963 to 1967 — medium-format glass with an image circle large enough for full frame, VistaVision, Alexa LF and some IMAX applications. The rendering is organic in a way that is very difficult to fake in post: gentle contrast, distinctive falloff, and in the case of the Helios-44 the swirling bokeh that has made that lens a cult object.
